Obtaining a Medical Prescription
To begin the process, it is mandatory to present a medical prescription containing: the patient's full name, the product's trade name, the monthly and annual dosage, the date of issue, the doctor's signature and CRM number, as well as a stamp or digital signature.
Application for Authorization from ANVISA
With the prescription in hand, the next step is to request the Import Authorization.
Access the Federal Government Portal, log in, and fill in the patient's and representative's (if applicable) information. Specify the desired products and attach the required documents: ID, CPF (Brazilian tax identification number), proof of relationship for minors, and proof of address—which must be the same location where the product will be delivered.
After submission, simply wait for ANVISA's analysis and approval.
Sending the Documentation for Purchase
With the authorization granted, the purchase process can begin.
At this stage, you will be asked to:
• Import Authorization issued by ANVISA
• Medical prescription
• Personal documents of the patient and the guardian, if applicable.
• Proof of address
Finalization and Follow-up
After the purchase is confirmed with the international supplier, the BIOTERPEX team will contact you to guide you through each step of the process.
You will receive an international tracking code, allowing you to follow the shipment of your product with complete security and transparency, with dedicated support until final delivery.
